Loot Design Philosophy
Loot is scarce (forces choices), thematic (reflects where/what you killed), random (dice determine fate), and impactful (rare loot can change campaigns). This system emphasizes risk/reward: higher difficulty missions yield better rewards, but come with greater danger.

Repair Kit (Basic)
Effect: Remove 1 Damage card from deck (settlement phase). Essential for field repairs.
Rarity: Most missions yield common loot.
T2 Soulstone Fragment
Effect: Fist-sized fragment. +15 Energy when refined (+2 Taint). Useful for mid-tier crafting.
Rarity: Hidden objectives and elite enemies drop these.
Void Crystal
Effect: Craft into weapon: attacks deal +2 damage, gain +1 Taint per kill. Power at a cost.
Rarity: Boss encounters and special missions.
Theslar's Locket
Effect: Contains Theslar's voice (AI assistant). Grants Probability Matrix ability. +1 Taint per mission.
Rarity: Campaign-defining. Only 1–2 per full campaign.
